New Flamingo Beach Marina Development
Now that there is finally a company approved to build the new Flamingo Beach Marina, there is a lot of excitement in this Costa Rican coastal town.

This is especially the case because of all of the great amenities and accommodations that are coming with this development.
Since there has just been approval for the construction company, Desarrollo de Marinas Matapalo DEMM S.A., these benefits are a long way off. There are many steps involved before they can even start building. Their construction plans need to be approved by several different entities first. For instance, the Municipal Council of Santa Cruz needs to approve every step before the company can move forward. Then the construction plans need to be approved by local environmentalists. This is because these experts will know what affect the construction will have on the local environment. Once everything is approved, they can start construction. From this point, it may take three or more years for it to be complete.
For a lot of people, this will be well worth the wait. The Flamingo Beach Marina, located near Tamarindo, Playa Conchal, Potrero, and Brasilito, boasts many different amenities that are worthwhile to many different people. For instance, their initial plans make the marina have more than 440 boat slips. This will hold many different sizes of boats, yachts, and ocean liners. Not only that, but they also plan to build a large hotel that will be able to fit hundreds of people.
